Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Review: Slim Looks, Big Performance

When you hear “world’s slimmest curved smartphone,” the first thing that comes to mind is style. But the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ isn’t just about looks — it offers solid performance, long battery life, and a display that feels way more premium than its price tag.

I’ve been using it as my daily phone for a full week — not just testing specs but actually living with it. From scrolling through news in the morning to Netflix marathons at night, it never once felt like I was “settling” for a budget phone. In fact, more than once, I caught myself thinking… Do I really need a flagship anymore?

Design: Feather-Light and Premium to the Touch

The first time you pick it up, you’ll notice how ridiculously thin it is — only 5.95mm — and at 155g, it’s lighter than most wallets. The curved AMOLED display melts into a premium aluminum frame, giving it a flagship feel that had friends guessing it was a $500+ device.

My review unit came in Moco Cyber Green, with a leather-textured back that even has a faint scent (yes, a scented phone). Weird? A little. Pleasant? Definitely. The back also features a Halo Light that glows softly for calls and charging — a small but stylish detail.

Display: Curved, Colorful, and Comfort-Ready

The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen packs a crisp 1224p resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Whether you’re gaming, streaming, or scrolling, it feels buttery smooth. And with 4500 nits peak brightness, even Karachi’s midday sun won’t wash it out.

For night owls, there’s DC dimming, Eye Comfort Mode, and Sleep Aid Mode to protect your eyes during late-night TikTok or drama sessions. Watching Netflix on a curved display adds a little extra cinematic touch — though curved screens aren’t everyone’s favorite.

Performance: Handles Daily Life With Ease

Running on the MediaTek Helio G200 with 8GB RAM (expandable) and up to 256GB storage, this phone didn’t break a sweat with my daily apps. Social media, browsing, light photo editing — all smooth.

Gamers will be happy too — PUBG and COD Mobile ran well on medium settings, and thanks to the 11-layer cooling system, it didn’t overheat. The built-in hardware gyroscope made aiming in shooters faster and more accurate.

Battery & Charging: All-Day Power, Lightning Refill

Despite its slim body, the 5160mAh battery easily lasted over a day on moderate use. The 45W fast charger (included!) takes it from 0% to 50% in about 25 minutes. It even supports bypass charging for gaming without heating the battery and reverse charging for your earbuds or other devices.

Infinix also promises it will keep 80% capacity even after 1,800 charging cycles — meaning it’s built for the long haul.

Camera: Good Enough for Everyday

The 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera produces sharp, color-true shots in daylight and better-than-expected results in low light. The 13MP selfie camera is perfect for social media snaps.

However, there’s no ultra-wide or telephoto lens, so creative photographers might feel limited. Portrait mode is solid outdoors but struggles indoors.

Software: Smooth, Fun, and Feature-Packed

Running Android 15 with XOS 15.1, the interface feels snappy and comes with some fun extras:

  • Folax AI Assistant for calls and quick actions
  • Circle to Search — just draw a circle on the screen to Google anything
  • AI Portrait Tools and Image Extender for better photos
  • QuickShare for speedy file transfers

There’s some pre-installed bloatware, but most of it can be deleted. Best of all, Infinix promises 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches — rare in this price range.

Audio, Security & Connectivity

  • Dual JBL stereo speakers — loud, crisp, and balanced
  • Under-display fingerprint & face unlock — both reliable
  • Dual SIM 4G, NFC, USB-C, and even an IR blaster
  • The only thing missing? 5G support.

Colors: Pick Your Personality

From classy Sleek Black to bold Sonic Yellow, there’s something for everyone. Coral Tides is a stunner, Misty Violet is elegant, and my personal favorite — Moco Cyber Green — is unique, textured, and yes… scented.

Verdict: Flagship Vibes Without the Flagship Price

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ gets the essentials right — sleek design, gorgeous display, strong battery — and even throws in premium touches like JBL audio and a curved AMOLED. Sure, no 5G and no ultra-wide camera, but for under $200, it’s an easy recommendation.

💡 Sometimes spending more doesn’t mean you get more. This phone proves it.
